Trató de animar al sabido en los juegos decisivos, pero el chileno todavía demostró una gran fortaleza mental.
Tras el varapalo en Buenos Aires, Alcaraz se queda sin la posibilidad de apostar la final del ATP 250 de Argentina. Jarry se medirá al argentino Díaz Acosta, mientras Alcaraz ya piensa en el venidero torneo: Río de Janeiro, donde luchará por revalidar título y recuperar sensaciones.
