El Real Madrid es el equipo más dominador del extremo decenio. En España, por supuesto. Y todavía en Europa. Desde fuera, todavía lo parecen.
De entrada, el Madrid tiene en sus filas a los dos jugadores más determinantes del entorno Euroliga: el propio Campazzo y Edy Tavares. Pero, a pesar del brillo de sus dos estrellas, su amplitud radica en el equipo, en la suma coral. Con Tavares renqueante, su jubilación se convirtió en el mejor de la final, con diferencia. Poirier acabó con 32 de valoración tras anotar 17 puntos sin laudo y capturar ocho rebotes, en una acto que maquilló con altas dosis de espectáculo. Pudo ser el MVP de la Copa, de hecho desde la rastra se cantó esa reivindicación. El premio recayó en El Facu, el de siempre, por su decano regularidad en los tres partidos, pero perfectamente habría podido ser para el francés. En este Madrid funcionan todos. Y eso es lo que les hace sentirse invencibles.
