El biker belga Wout Alleman y el nerlandés Hans Becking, del equipo Buff-Megamo, y sus compañeras de equipo, la suiza Janina Wüst y la nerlandesa Rosa Van Doorn, consiguieron este viernes la trofeo en la casa de campo y penúltima etapa de la Andalucía Bike Race, con salida y venida en Córdoba, y un trazado de 91 kilómetros, el más abundante de la decimocuarta estampado de la prueba.
A descuido de una etapa para el final de la competición, la normal masculina la lideran los italianos Fabian Rabensteiner y Samuele Porro, del Wilier-Vittoria, y la femenina Wüst y Van Doorn.
Alleman y Becking, que lograron su tercer triunfo parcial, marcaron un tiempo de 3 horas, 16 minutos y 27 segundos en la meta de la renta cordobesa, el mismo que Fabian Rabensteiner y Samuele Porro, que se mantienen como líderes de la normal cuando solo descuido una etapa para el final.
Terceros en la meta fueron el suizo Casey South y el italiano Diego Rosa, vencedores el jueves en Villafranca de Córdoba, que perdieron 58 segundos respecto a las dos primeras parejas.
De esta forma, y descuido de una etapa, Rabensteiner y Porro, lideran la clasificación normal con una delantera de 3 minutos y 40 segundos sobre el teutón Andreas Seewald y Marc Stutzmann del Canyon Sidi MTB, y de 3 minutos y 42 segundos, con respecto a Alleman y Becking, por lo que el podio aún no está decidido.
La categoría femenina cuenta con claras dominadoras y así la suiza Janina Wüst y la nerlandesa Rosa Van Doorn son un rodillo al frente de la normal, máxime cuando este viernes lograron su cuarta trofeo consecutiva de etapa, con un tiempo de 4 horas, 6 minutos y 46 segundos, 10 menos que la española Meritxell Figueras y la italiana Claudia Peretti, del Cannondale ISB.
El tercer puesto en la renta cordobesa lo consiguieron la suiza Irina Lützelschwab, ganadora en 2023, y la española Natalia Fischer, que lograron su segundo podio de esta estampado, aunque perdieron 3 minutos y 52 segundos con respecto a las ganadoras.
Wüst y Van Doorn cuentan en la normal con una delantera de 10:51 sobre Figueras y Peretti, y de 23 minutos y 53 segundos con la holandesa Tessa Kortekaas y la colombiana Mónica Calderón.
La Andalucía Bike terminará este sábado en su decimocuarta estampado con una contrarreloj en Córdoba de 27 kilómetros, que saldrá y llegará al parque de la Asomadilla sin un metropolitano llanada.
