los que serán gestionados por la Dirección Municipal de Medio Hábitat.
La asociación municipal Nº17 Villa Torres del Paine se adjudicó el Fondo de Protección Ambiental del Empleo del Medio Hábitat por un monto de $6 millones, que considera la instalación de un “Punto Verde” en el sector y capacitaciones de educación ambiental.
El objetivo del tesina “Trabazón Municipal Nº17 Separa y Recicla sus Residuos”, iniciativa que se desarrolla en conjunto con la Municipalidad de Natales, es sensibilizar a la comunidad municipal sobre la coexistentes de residuos y su impacto en el medioambiente a través de la implementación de un espacio destinado al depósito de diferentes tipos de residuos. Lo antedicho, contribuirá a disminuir la cantidad de basura que tienen como destino final el vertedero municipal.
Sobre ello, Fanny Narváez, coordinadora del FPA, mencionó que “se va a acorazar el proceso con los vecinos para que le den un buen uso al punto”.
En tanto, Karina Ronfeltd, profesional de la Dirección de Medio Hábitat, Aseo y Ornato de la Municipalidad de Natales, enfatizó que “esto sirve para acorazar la gobierno ambiental del paraje y educar ambientalmente a los vecinos y comunidad en común”.
El Punto Verde se instalará en la sede de la asociación municipal Nº17 ubicada en calle Granaderos Nº1610 y se podrá depositar dos tipos de residuos, plástico pet 1 y latas de aluminio.
El dispositivo es el tercero instalado en sedes vecinales de la comuna, existiendo otros dos en la asociación Nº33 de la población Shuka II y en la asociación Nº21 de la población Nueva Esperanza.
Lucía Carrasco, presidenta de la asociación municipal Nº17 señaló que “nos ha costado postular a proyectos, pero con esto nos sentimos súper contentos porque tuvimos el apoyo de Medio Hábitat, y de Fanny Narváez, quien ha sido un pilar fundamental en esto”.
Los residuos depositados en el Punto Verde, serán gestionados por la Dirección de Medio Hábitat, que se encargarán del retiro, acopio y posterior remisión a la planta de reciclaje ubicada en Puerto Montt.
