El ciclista gachupin Juan Ayuso (UAE Emirates) se presenta con aspiraciones de triunfo este miércoles en la 61ª publicación del Trofeo Laigueglia, prueba italiana de un día que afronta luego de su flamante triunfo en la Faun Ardeche y el segundo puesto en la Drome Classic.
El ciclista nacido en Barcelona hace 21 primaveras, aunque residente en Jávea, puede rematar una semana fantástica en la prueba que tendrá área en la provincia de Liguria, donde retraso un trayecto de 202 kilóemtros con salida y venida en Laigueglia.
Una prueba que afrontará la perla española con los galones del UAE, formación que pondrá en arena un plantel destacado con hombres como los italianos Alessandro Covi y Diego Ulissi, el suizo Marc Hisrschi y el polaco Rafl Majka.
No van a humillar rivales de entidad, como los franceses veinteañeros del Groupama-FDJ Romain Gregoire, segundo en la Ardeche, y Lenny Martínez, segundo en la normal de O Gran Camiño.
Ademas, el Cofidis contará con la partida del gachupin Jesús Herrada y el EF Education-EasyPost con Alberto Bettiol y Andrea Piccolo, un hombre rápido con opciones al sprint.
El ciclismo gachupin estará representado por dos equipos, el Caja Rural-Seguros RGA y el Euskaltel-Euskadi.
La salida y la venida tendrá como proscenio la entrada que da nombre a la carrera. Tiene una primera parte con los sitios claves situados en el encumbramiento a Paravenna y Testico, que darán paso a un circuito final al que se darán cuatro vueltas, subiendo en todas ellas el Colla Micheri.
