El equipo francs TotalEnergies y el noruego Uno-X sern los dos invitados por la organizacin para disputar el prximo Tour de Francia, junto a los 20 clasificados de oficio segn las normas de la Unin Ciclista Internacional (UCI).
El director de la carrera, Christian Prudhomme, asegur este jueves que han atribuido las dos invitaciones siguiendo una lgica deportiva, ya que ambos equipos acabaron en los puestos 21 y 22 de la clasificacin de la UCI en 2023.
En el caso del equipo noruego, asegur que su comportamiento en el Tour de Francia “dej una buena impresin” y que esperan que mejore gracias al ascenso del joven Tobias Johannessen, ganador del Tour del Porvenir de 2021.
El TotalEnergies, por su parte, cuenta con Mathieu Burgaudeau, que fue segundo en una etapa y acab tres veces entre los diez primeros, seal Prudhomme.
Junto a esos dos equipos estarn los 18 que integran la UCI-Pro Tour, entre ellos el espaol Movistar, as como los dos que acabaron primeros de la segunda divisin, el Lotto belga y el Israel.
Prudhomme tambin anunci que el TotalEnergies tambin tendr una invitacin para la Pars-Niza, al igual que el equipo suizo Tudor, que acab 25 el ao pasado y que se ha reforzado con el italiano Matteo Trentin y con el australiano Michael Storer.
En el Critrium del Dauphin, los invitados sern el Uno-X y el Q 36.5, seal el director de la carrera, que indic que su intencin rotar al mximo entre los equipos de la segunda divisin para fortalecerla y mejorar as la formacin de las futuras estrellas.
