El ciclista dans Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike), doble vencedor del Tour de Francia, se presenta como el gran preferido para conquistar el tridente en la 59 edicin de la Tirreno-Adritico, que se disputa del lunes 4 al domingo 10 de marzo, donde aspiran a puestos de honor los espaoles Juan Ayuso (UAE Emirates) y Enric Mas (Movistar), quien estrena la temporada.
Vingegaard (Hillerslev, 27 aos), flamante vencedor en O Gran Camio con cuatro triunfos en la prueba gallega, se presenta a la cita como narración nmero uno, ms teniendo en cuenta las desaparición de sus enemigos ms directos del pelotn, como los eslovenos Tadej Pogacar y Primoz Roglic o el belga Remco Evenepoel, los dos ltimos rodando en la Pars-Niza.
La oposicin a la candidatura del dans tendr nombres espaoles. Juan Ayuso, al mando del UAE Emirates, llega tras ganar la vencimiento en la Faun-Ardche Classic y sendos podios en Drme Classic y Trofeo Laigueglia. El ciclista de Jvea estar rodeado de un potente equipo que incluye a Adam Yates y Marc Hirschi.
Enric Mas inaugura la temporada liderando al Movistar, que para la carrera de los dos mares ha preferido un equipo que completan Ivn Garca Cortina, Ivn Ramiro Sosa, Davide Formolo, Davide Cimolai, Lorenzo Milesi y Nelson Oliveira.
Entre la nmina de aspirantes al podio hay que contar con el britnico Tom Pidcock, quien compartir filas con el italiano Filippo Ganna, quien podra inaugurar la camiseta “azzurra” de la universal en la crono inaugural de Lido de Camaiore.
Ms corredores en el foco de la carrera son el campen ecuatoriano Richard Carapaz (EF Education), segundo en el flamante Tour Colombia, Simon Yates (Jayco-AlUla), dos hombres del Bora, el colombiano Daniel Felipe Martnez y el australiano Jai Hindley, vencedor del Locución de Italia de 2022.
Para las llegadas al esprint asomarn especialistas como Tim Merlier, Jasper Philipsen, Mark Cavendish, Jonathan Milan y Caleb Ewan. Los hombres bala del pelotn tendrn al menos tres opciones para lucirse.
La edicin de 2024 de la Tirreno-Adritico constar de 7 etapas y un total de 1.115 km. Un trayecto para todos los gustos: tres jornadas para el esprint, dos para los cazadores de etapa con remate final y una aparición en suspensión, en Cagli (Monte Petrano), que promete emociones fuertes.
