El belga Wout Alleman y el neerlands Hans Becking, del equipo Buff Megamo, y la espaola Meritxell Figueras y la italiana Claudia Peretti, del Cannondale ISB, se convirtieron este lunes en lderes de la Andaluca Bike Race, que empez en Bedmar (Jan) con una etapa corta a 21 kilmetros, de los 57 previstos, correcto a las condiciones meteorolgicas.
Alleman, que ya gan en 2023, y su compaero de equipo se presentaron en la lnea de meta con un tiempo de 49 minutos y 55 segundos y vencieron en una ajustada venida al suizo Marc Stutzman y el alemn Andreas Seewald, campen del mundo de maratn en 2021, y que militan en el Canyon Sidi MTB, que slo cedieron un segundo en Bedmar.
La tercera pareja clasificada fue la formada por el austriaco Daniel Geismayr y el italiano Jakob Dorigoni, del Wilier-Vittoria, que llegaron a 9 segundos de Alleman y Beking.
En ese mismo tiempo tambin alcanzaron la venida los italianos Fabian Rabensteiner, que venci en 2023 haciendo pareja con Alleman, y Samuele Porro, que tambin compiten con el Wilier-Vittoria, aunque tuvieron que conformarse con el cuarto puesto.
La espaola Meritxell Figueras y la campeona de Italia Claudia Peretti, del Cannondale ISB, dominaron con autoridad la recorrido inaugural de la Andaluca Bike Race en la competicin femenina, y desde el primer momento se situaron en comienzo.
La gerundense puso un ritmo endiablado y se compenetr a la perfeccin con su compaera, lo que les permiti alcanzar en solitario con un tiempo de una hora, 3 minutos y 51 segundos, por delante de la nerlandesa Tessa Kortekaas y la colombiana Mnica Yuliana Caldern, compaeras del Cannondale, que pararon el cronómetro en 1 hora, 5 minutos y 12 segundos.
La tercera posicin correspondi a la bosnia Lejla Njemčević y a la sueca Terese Andersson, del conjunto Allebike Team, que hicieron 1 hora, 5 minutos y 35 segundos, mientras que cuartas fueron la suiza Janina Wst y la nerlandesa Rosa Van Doorn, del Buff Megamo, con 1 hora, 5 minutos y 52 segundos, y quintas la alemana Stefanie Walker y la francesa Line Burquier, del Canyon Sidi MTB, con 1 hora, 6 minutos y 14 segundos.
Este martes se disputar la segunda etapa, con salida y venida en Jan y un trazado de 65 kilmetros. Con salida en direccin a Pegalajar, se subir en torno a el Mirador de las Siete Pilillas para disfrutar de varios senderos ayer de dirigirse en torno a Mancha Existente. Una vez all se retornar a Pegalajar, donde estar el avituallamiento y el punto de amparo mecnico, por La Control, para ir en direccin a la meta en el Olivo Arena.
